Family Education at CBI

We are incredibly excited to announce our innovative, engaging, new Family Education program!

Family Education at Congregation Beth Israel engages the whole child, families, and the entire community through interactive, multi-generational, and traditional learning experiences fostering an awareness and love of Jewish values, customs, and traditions.

The Family Education Program will foster deeper relationships between the school, members of the congregation and the greater community while also strengthening participants’ relationship to their Jewish identity. Students and family participants will develop knowledge and skills of: Hebrew language, traditional texts, and prayer; understand Jewish holidays and traditions; appreciate global Jewish culture and history; and engage in real-world ethics influenced by Jewish values.

We also offer a Pre-K/K program called Gan Katan (Little Garden) for children aged 3-5 which meets every Sunday. For more information click here

In addition to our weekly Sunday School program, we have Hebrew classes on Thursday afternoons, monthly (3rd Friday) Kabbalat Shabbat Family services followed by a vegetarian potluck dinner and (2nd Saturday) Youth Shabbat services.  For more information, contact the office.
