The Gift Shop

Gift Shop Hours:  Fridays Noon to 3:00 pm
(The CBI building will be closed the week of Thanksgiving.)

We welcome you to the Judaica Gift Shop at CBI.  Walk into this “jewel” of a store and discover all sorts of treasures. You will certainly find all the Judaica items you need to help observe our traditions and to celebrate our holidays. But there is more to discover. We are fortunate to carry Jewish art created by several artists who belong to the Southern Highland Craft Guild, as well as the work of some of our own talented members. Browse our shelves for candlesticks and candles (Shabbat, Havdallah, or Yahrzeit), kiddush cups, tallit, jewelry, mezuzzahs, framed artwork, holiday serving dishes, children’s toys, educational materials, shofars, holiday decorations, challah covers, books, greeting cards, CD’s…and so much more.

You will be delighted not only by our merchandise, but also by our prices! We offer lower prices than you will find on the internet because we have no overhead and volunteer staffing.

Please visit and let us show you our “hidden gem”.

Please call the office or Carol Samsky at (828) 676-0765 to arrange for opening the shop at other
times and for special orders.

In addition to our regular hours, we’re often open during major CBI events.  Come see the beautiful Judaica that’s imported from Israel – items produced by artists like Adi Sidler, Shraga Landesman, and Ya’ir Emmanuel.

Thinking about a gift?  Graduation Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or perhaps a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, birth, wedding or an anniversary?  Consider a unique gift of Jewish art.  We also have ideal hostess gifts and children’s gifts.  And you’ll be surprised by how low our prices are due to our non-existent overhead and our wonderful volunteers.  Remember, all the shop’s profits benefit CBI.
