FRIDAY NOON STUDY GROUP  JUNE 2  12-1

This Friday, June 2, we will take up one minor loose end from our discussion on May 19 –“Is Evil Necessary?”–and then discuss the opening chapter of Part 3, “Higher Awareness,” of God is a Verb (pp. 165-185), which focuses on “The Mystical Chariot” and the paths it engenders.
Our discussion group meets via Zoom every Friday from 12-1 (see the CBI web site or weekly announcements for a Zoom link).  All are welcome to join us, regardless of their level of expertise or attendance at previous Friday study group sessions.  Copies of Cooper’s book are available at a variety of internet outlets where one might be able to access the text as a PDF.  If you have questions, please contact Jay Jacoby at jbjacoby@uncc.edu .

Torah on Tap:

Sunday April 23, 4-5:30pm

Biltmore Park Clubhouse

1067 Columbine Rd, 28803

Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum….there are now hundreds of cryptocurrencies available online (and, yes, a few cryptocurrency managers heading to jail). So, what’s all the fuss? How  does it work? Is crypto on the up and up or is it just another get-rich-quick  scam?

Join us this Sunday as we try to explain and understand what the heck cryptocurrency is and whether it’s kosher or not.

Note: Change of Venue: This month, we will be meeting at the Biltmore Park Clubhouse, 1067 Columbine Road, 28803. Thanks to Steve and Carol Kayne for coordinating. Feel free to BYOB (bring your own beverage/beer). Sorry, no BYOD (your own dog).
