Join us for the first CBI Adult Education program of 2023!

Yetzirah: A Hearth for Jewish Poetry, is a national organization of Jewish poets and readers of Jewish poetry. Among other things, it hosts an annual poetry reading series. The readings, which feature Jewish poets from around the country, take place on Zoom. We are now beginning to host viewing parties around the country. At these parties, folks will come together in person to view the reading. Following the reading, local groups will have time for a discussion, which will be facilitated by a local host.
We are fortunate that Congregation Beth Israel will be the first place in the country to host a local viewing party of a Yetzirah reading!
The reading begins at 5 p.m. It will conclude at about 6 p.m. Following that, we’ll have about 30 minutes for a discussion. I will share copies of three poems, one by each of the poets who will read that night, that we can turn to ground our discussion.
I hope you will join us at CBI for the viewing party and discussion. If for whatever reason it will work better for you to view the reading from home, you can register to receive the Zoom link here: https://yetzirahpoets.org/yprograms/january-15-trees-nature/
No need to register if you are joining us in person at CBI!

If you have any questions about this reading or Yetzirah’s other initiatives, please write to Rick Chess at rick.chess@gmail.com
