CBI is launching a special pre High Holiday program led by Alan Silverman on Shabbat mornings Aug 5, 26, and Sept 2 and 9* at 9:30 am. We’ll meet in the sanctuary and spend the first 20 minutes of what would normally be the Shabbat preliminary prayer time, and instead use this time preparing for prayer in a discussion format addressing 3 essential prayer questions:
1. Why am I here (in shul for services)?
2. How do I spend my time (while in services)?
3. What are the obstacles to me accomplishing what I came for?
Whether or not you are a ‘regular’ on Shabbat mornings, we hope you will join us as we prepare our minds and our spirit for the High Holy Days.
