Introduced in 2016 by Beth Appel, the annual CBI Directory has very quickly become our largest fundraiser of the year. The directory provides valuable information for CBI congregants, enabling us to keep in contact with each other; includes a business directory of the 40+ advertisers who support CBI; features an annual appointment calendar, information on Asheville's Jewish organizations and a section for New Year's greetings. It's basically an over-sized Swiss Army Knife that helps us balance the budget each year.
And we need help putting it together each year. More specifically, if you can contribute in any of the following ways, we'd love to hear from you:
- Ad sales business
- Graphic designers
- Administrative supporters
Work on each year's directory begins in the summer and is completed in time for the final product to be made available at the start of the High Holidays. It doesn't involve a lot of work, but it does produce a LOT of important and critical financial support.
